LEGAL ACTION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES UGANDA (LAPD)

LAPD was formed by lawyers with disabilities with a principle purpose of dispensing legal duties to persons with disabilities through counseling, advice and representation in Courts of Judicature. LAPD visualizes a Uganda where rights of persons with disabilities are actualized and exists to provide free and sustainable legal aid to persons with disabilities in Uganda. The vision of LAPD focuses on being a powerful engine for human rights and legal action in Uganda that will contribute to a Uganda free of human rights abuse among persons with disabilities.
